Sekolah Berasrama Sekolah Harian

“Diri sendiri mencorakkan kejayaan.

“Saya berpendapat faktor taraf sekolah hanya penyumbang kecil.

  1. hmm, saje je drop by your website. and this topic really strikes me because i'm a straight A's student, from a normal school. i applied for boarding school, unfortunately, i didn't get any offer. maybe it's because of my lack of co-curricular activities, but i don't think so, that way. i do attend a lot of them. so i think it's based on my rezeki. most of my friends got into boarding school, such as SASER, SESERI, SBPI to name a few. i cried and i couldn't think for a while because it made me seem unfair, because i, too, achieve good results as them. though they're my friends, i know deep inside they sympathize me as i couldn't continue my studies in boarding school. people's perception are that way; boarding school is all that. you can't succeed if you stay in a regular school. i couldn't think of any better reason why i didn't get in except it's what God's decision to make me stay. maybe there's something behind everything? i'm very weak, everything people say something about what a waste i didn't get in, i will cry.
however, your article above proves me that, to excel in studies, it is not based on the school, but it is based on ourselves.

  2. Great article.. Well, same like Hanis, I'm a straight A's student. What makes me different from her is that, I received an offer from STAR, but i didnt go.. Because of that, a lot of my relatives. my parent's friends said that I was stupid by letting go the chance to further my study at boarding school.. Luckily, my parent didnt force me to go. They wanted me to make my own decision. So, as I said just now, I didnt go to STAR. Dari dulu sampai sekarang, i dont know why people always think that boarding schools are better. Cant they see what is happening nowadays? Kes buli, ponteng, even kes2 berat dh bermaharajela di sekolah berasrama penuh. So, what is the reason for sending their children to boarding school? I didnt say that people should not send their children to boarding school, but please, respect us who didnt go to boarding school. Saya x mahu pergi ke boarding school based on a lot reasons. Firstly, discipline problem at boarding school. Secondly, for me, no matter where you go, if u work hard, u can achieve what you want. Good for me, i'm now a head prefect in my school, so, i have the "extra ticket" that can help to further my study in University and later to seacrh for a job. Somtimes, I think, if i go to boarding school, can i have the same thing i have now in normal school? Maybe no... Therefore, please do think properly before u choose to go to boarding school.. This involve your future... From my own experience, dont think what will people said, if u dont want to go, dont go, but if u want to go, good luck... For those who didnt get the offer, dont be upset.. Who knows, a better future is waiting for you...

  3. Salam, i think if u study in normal school is as good as boarding school. From my experience i'm not a str8 A's student during SPM, and iniatially i feel so sad because all my friends from boarding school get all str8 A's. Then, fortunately i am accepted to matriculation. There i felt so inferior because all my roomate are from boarding school and get all str8 A's. I do think that how i am going to survive in this place. Finally, i get 4 flat in the end. the thing that i want to share is experience in normal school help me to survive independently without help/tips from the teacher and continue helping me in university where i success until now i am in final year doing dentistry.

  4. As for me I think that if we get to go to the right place, we can succeed.
For example, IF we head to a boarding school with a good reputation then the surroundings will help to teach us about responsibility. Furthermore, boarding schools are where most straight As students go, therefore, your friends are mostly keen on their studies.
As for me, I chose to go to a boarding school because my friends in my normal schools now brings me many problems like friendship problems and I cant bare to listen to them anymore.
So I decide to go to the boarding school that I got offered to and try my luck there.
Well, whatever happens, I still have my CK here.

  5. saya salah seorang pelajar sekolah harian berasrama di kl. i'm actually read this article just to get some ideas to work on my essay, but this article facinated me. what i think is, anyone can study anywhere. its just a metter of your ethusiasm and disciplin in study. in regular school, u don't have to listen to the princple nagging about the students achievement in studies every single perhimpunan as much as the boarding school students have to put up with. but in boarding schools, u'll be surrounded by intelligent people. some where, some how, it makes you want to be competative and be as good as everybody in the school. if u are having a 'road not taken' moment, try to think about the pro's and con's of ur choice. but studying anywhere would do. its all in ur heart and mind. as long as u set ur mind to it! :-)

  7. salam semua.pada pendapat mama, sekolah berasrama ni selalu org salah anggap.bila dah antar ank ke sana bole lepas tangan.ini tidak benar.walaupon xsemua setuju yg belajar di asrama saja akan berjaya, tetapi byk kebaikan bagi sebilangan besar ibu bapa dan pelajar itu sendiri.contohnya, xsemua ibubapa mampu manghantar ank mereka ke kelas2 tusen yg mahal2 kerana kewangan tidak mengizinkan serta kekangan masa.seperkara lagi,di asrama pelajar diajar tentang disiplin diri, solat berjumaah, solat hajat, kiamulail, aktiviti keagamaan agak kuat berbanding di rumah di mana ramai ibubapa terleka akibat kasihankan anak2,ramai ank2 tidak solat apabila pulang dari sekolah.sekarang pula, budaya ragging amatlah ditentang habis2san oleh pihak sbp itu sendiri.tapi kalau basuh2 baju senior tuh biasalah, kerana itulah cara senior dan budak baru mengeratkan hubungan.insyaallah, kita berdoa ajelah agar semuanya berjalan lancar unk ank2 kita hendaknya.
